Visitors, birds and the environment will appreciate this birdhouse that's constructed entirely from "mushroom wood," a mix of cypress, hemlock and other soft woods. The wood , reclaimed from the bedding bins of mushroom-growing facilities after harvest, displays a deep, open-grain texture and caramel hue. Designed to look like a real outhouse, the birdhouse even features a crescent moon. The house has a 1 ½" entry hole, ventilation and drainage, and front door hinges for easy cleaning.
