Phenomenal® Lavender
Phenomenal lavender plants are a top performer in our trials. Phenomenal has become the standard by which other lavender plants are measured. Phenomenal lavender is a hardy variety with extremely fragrant flower spikes that compliment daylilies' grass-like foliage—as well as roses, peonies, and other perennials—filling in the difficult spaces between. Lavender phenomenal is exceptionally disease resistant—holds up to common root and foliar diseases. Phenomenal lavender plants have a darker color bloom than many other lavenders. Phenomenal is also able to take colder winters and hot, humid summers better than others. Phenomenal lavender are great for drying and using in potpourris. This large hedging lavender adds a lovely barrier along fence lines or around unsightly areas of the landscape. Deer tend to avoid phenomenal lavender plants, making it a smart choice for hosta and daylily beds. Prune in the spring to encourage new growth.Lavandula intermedia 'Niko' PP24193
