Clematis Arabella

Arabella is a non-vining hybrid of Integrifolia and large flowered Clematis. It is a global best seller from the renowned breeder Barry Fretwell, loved all over the world for its flowers and habit. The flowers are really unusual because they form almost the flat disk shape you'd get on a large-flowering clematis. They pair extraordinarily well with the habit, which is more of a sprawling style you'd love to see ambling through a flower bed. Together, you've got plentiful medium size, sky blue disk-like flowers with gorgeous pale centers, spreading out as a floral backdrop in your perennial border. You could also clip Arabella up to enjoy the flowers at eye-level. Arabella is an easy clematis to grow. It's very hardy, with a strong performance and long bloom time you'll really enjoy through the season. It is quickly remontant, so when it's finished with its first flowering of the season and it's losing steam, cut it back and it'll grow fresh, reflowering in about 6 weeks.
